Come out and see some of the best amateur baseball in the state of Minnesota in a beautiful setting at Delano Municipal Baseball Park! Even if you don’t have a connection to a team, it’s a fun atmosphere watching the small town support and enthusiasm that many of these towns bring to the tourney!

Weekend #1 Tidbits:
· For a complete tourney schedule, go to http://mnbaseball.org/League/ClassC
· Friday night features a Stearns County rivalry contest between Avon and Richmond. It should be a raucous atmosphere! Elrosa is another Stearns County team with great fan support.
· Southern Minnesota baseball hotbeds Fairmont and New Ulm kick off Saturday action.
· Midway has one of the best nicknames in the tourney: the Snurdbirds! They also play good baseball!
· Maple Lake is the defending state champion. Jordan is a perennial powerhouse.
· St. Benedict and Union Hill come from the New Prague/Jordan area and the great fan base of the DRS Baseball League.
· Delano High School’s athletic trainer Beth Swanson’s husband Matt leads Upsala into the tourney.
· Loretto features some Delano grads with Brandon Scanlon, Ryan Schaust, and the entire Koch family!
· Roseau will have farthest commute, traveling over 300 miles to play in Delano!
